Let them get on with their form filling and their "disgusted of Brighton" telephone calls to all and sundry, instead of behaving politely and asking nicely first.I think they may be frightened if they do actually ask politely the person will stop doing whatever it is offends them and they'll have nothing to moan about.
For the record Wendilla I think you should have the courtesy to ask the man nicely then if he doesn't play ball do whatever you like, but it's only common manners isn't it?
Wendilla sorry but I didn't mean to start an argument it was only ment as a constructive, positve way forward out of your current situation as opposed to all the negative comment posted previously. Maybe I'm just to 'christian' in my outlook and belive in giving people a second chance (funny cos I don't belive in god). If this guy has had a troubled past and been in prison he is likely to be un-educated and find it very dificult to get a 'proper' job, fixing cars maybe the only skill he has and is doing his best to make ends meet.
Gef Sorry I can't seem to find your post where you try and help Wendilla, maybe I missed it.
Nox Thanks for the support
I have just been to my garage and who was up there but the man across.I politely said to him "is there any chance you can draw up to your garage door as I am finding it difficult to get round into my garage"His reply was "you could get a ******* bus round there"I didnt say anymore to stoop to his level I just walked away.So that didnt work.

No his car and hopefully he wont park his untaxed cars there again. My real issue was that his car was untaxed and making it difficult for me and a few others to get in there garages thanks for your replies it just goes to show that by approaching him first didnt work as I got a mouthful off him then he moved it as he knew he was in the wrong.
Wendilla,
If this guy is buying and selling cars he is obviously operating a business from home, which possibly is not permitted. Check with your local Trading Standards office to see if he is registered and whether this kind of business may be operated from a private house. Also, is his property a Council property or privately owned? If it's Council, they may have rules about trading from home which are being breached.
