I sometimes get a warning....'this file could damage your computer'...this is on reputable sites.
Also...should I have Adobe reader installed? There is a default PDF reader already in place. This is on a Google nexus 7.

Adobe Reader uses a massive amount of resources (meaning that it's slow, slow, slow!). On a PC an alternative program such as SumatraPDF (which I use) or Foxit (which is widely recommended here on AB) is a far better choice. So I can see no reason why you want it on a tablet. (I'm not even sure if it's available for most tablet operating systems anyway).

I suppose that it's theoretically possible that hackers could attach some malware to a pdf on a legitimate site but it's far more likely that your tablet's security software is just being over-cautious. I'd happily ignore those warnings.

Thanks Chris. I was just googling, and have gotten the impression that its a Google problem. Lots of sites with suggestions on how to get rid of this annoying 'warning'.
