Hi there

Was wondering if anyone knows anything about entering the Greeting Card industry. I have a degree in Graphic Design but after a few months doing work-related experience at graphic companies, I found that the total number of times I got to use any creativity was...1 (and that was by changing the desktop).

Exageration aside, has anyone ever worked in a Greeting Card company or submitted freelance work etc?

I'd be very grateful to hear from you.

The "Writers and Artists Year Book" contains lots of addresses etc about companies which publish greetings cards and has information about submitting art work. It's published by A&C Black and the 2006 book has a bright red cover!

Ah great! Thanks Xrayspecs! I'll check that out. Might be a good start.

Ali.

There is a company called phoenix who sell their greeting cards/wrapping paper etc. generally through girls parties, also at school fairs etc. I noticed on their latest catalogues somewhere it said they would be interested to see original new designs.
