Iss Sighting Over The Uk This Evening.

1st Sighting 10 12 pm for 5 mins W departing ESE

2nd sighting 11 49 pm for 1 min W departing WSW

If clear skies again the 1st sighting should be good . Last night was spectacular

PERSEIDS SLOWLY SUBSIDING: The Perseid meteor shower, which peaked on August 12-13 with as many as 120 meteors per hour, is slowly subsiding as Earth exits the debris stream of parent comet 109P/Swift-Tuttle. Sky watchers should nevertheless remain alert for meteors tonight between midnight and sunrise. It will take several days for the Perseid rate to drop to zero

Got a great view of the ISS last night... was so clear and saw a fair few meteors too. Stunning!

Just had a glimpse of one meteor last night and had to go to bed at 12.
But tonight, I'll be there with my jamas, dressing gown wrapped around me!
Will fall back in my easy chair in the garden and not move till i see more of Iss and meteors.
