I am the same as you. I have a hairy face and neck. Go to a good salon and get it done properly. It not cheap and hurts like Hades but it really works.

I am having treatments which cost £60 a month. I saw a vast difference after two treatments.

wolf, i am having salon treatment too... i've only had one so far, so no result as yet, but it didn't hurt at all and she only 'flashed' once, for a second, in each area ... does that sound right to you?
didn't seem enough to me...?

I have PCOS too.

My first laser treatment was about ten years ago at a local hospital (paid as private treatment). The smell of burnt hair was nauseating and it hurt a bit ~ they took photographs of the treatment area to help us to see if there was an improvement. There was ~ after about three treatments the improvement was amazing.

I had about half a dozen treatments and then changed to a beauty salon where I had ongoing treatment every couple of months. I was ill last year and stopped going to the salon. The hair started to come back ~ not much but it was there.

I moved to yet another salon and have had two treatments. It is a totally different type of machine. There is a flash, sometimes a bit of pain for a millisecond and a beep. Then she moves on to another area. I think that the system is called Spa Touch.

Stick it out ~ I used to get really upset about this and as I am prone to depression it has blighted my life significantly. It does work.

Let me know how you get on. I am 50 in a matter of weeks so my hormones are probably making my problems worse. Fekkin horomones.

:-)
I have wondered about the no no I've seen advertised all over the place.

The advert promises great things but I don't know anyone who has got one so would like to know if it really works??!

the no no is a no no!

it apparently just burns the hairs off and hurts, but leaves little black dots

i have seen a lot of negative reviews about it.

check it out on amazon
Thanks joko. I did wonder how they did it and if it just burns then the hair grows back quickly I would have thought!!
There doesn't seem to be much unbiased information about the various treatments. I am not sure if they are regulated by some body of experts who can say that a particular type of laser is safe and that it does work.

I was going to buy one of the machines but none of them were cheap and I didn't want to spend money on a machine when I could have squandered the money on some other treat for myself.
