My Poor Fushia..
Hi peoples, just wondered if anyone could helpor advise,I bought a trailing/climbing fushia which i intended to grow up and over an archway. it's about 3ft talland looked wonder full,till i planted it in the ground, after about a week all the leaves started to fall off it, another few days later and its almost bare.The hole was watered not the plant i put some growmore in it too. has anyone got any idea why this has happened and will it servive, many thanks

It will most likely bounce back next year....has gone into a physiologica l shock... sometimes happens... especially if it had been grown on In a hothouse... or in a conservatory like structure in garden centre.... wait till you see new sprouts next year then prune back to them....

WOW that was quick thanks,I gotta be honest with you looking at it i'm not so sure it will bounce back, even thought taking it back, but i'll leave it for now and see how it goes, I'm new to this gardening lark but instinct always seem's to get my grandad through so on that note nothing ventured nothing gained, here's hoping, thanks again peep's
