Hello everyone. Another A to Z I'm afraid.

This one is inspired by, and for, Quinie, who suggested I do one with trees, fruit, veg and sportspersons: so, for all the spoonies going, can you name as many trees, fruit, veg and sportspersons as you can from the top of your head, and without any links, beginning at the letter A and ending at the letter Z?

They can be done in any order (i.e., b,g,m,a,z,x: abc or z,y,x), but can you fill all the letters?

I shall be leaving this one open for a couple of days and give everyone a fair chance to add their contribution.
