Why Do People Fight All The Time?

I really can't get my head around why people seem to love to fight and argue with each other throughout certain topics within this website. I only have to read a couple of 'up to date' threads and you see constant arguing.

Do some people thrive of this sort of thing?

There does appear to be one or two snipers in News i.e. the sort who wouldn't dream of starting a thread/debate of their own about a breaking news topic but hover over the PC, knowing that said story will have a thread started imminently.
At that point they will make their stance known in the most vociferous manner whilst reveling in ridiculing the OP.

Nothing wrong with a good clean scrap with the handbags but the hunting in packs which occasionally happens is sometimes near the knuckle. It is however an unfortunate facet of the human race.

I find that News and Religion are scary places. I very seldom contribute to any of the threads ~ it does seem like lynch mob territory in News sometimes.

I always try and work out from the newspaper articles what 'really' the truth of the story is and tend not to accept the story at face value. I can't understand the anger that people feel towards people that they don't know or minority groups that they nothing about.

But then ~ I am perfect!
And when I don't take my Lithium I am omnipotent.

A word taken the wrong way can usually set the mercury rising. I usually find situations can be resolved on here when offended parties explain themselves in order to diffuse the situation.
