LG KG800 Chocolate phone

I have got the LG KG800 chocolate phone and have been trying to transfer pictures to the using the usb lead which has worked fine BUT only when the pictures are stored in the "photo" folder (which are generally the ones i have taken by the camera on the phone). What i cant seem to do is transfer pictures that are stored in "images" folder to my pc ... the pics stored in images are pictures that other people have sent me. Does anyone know how i can do this or how i can send the pictures in the "images" folder to the "pictures" folder so they will be accessible to transfer to the pc? hope you all understood that!
Any help would be appreciated as the user manual is next to useless!
