Enjoy!
Would Chocolate and Nuts Brownies do also?
Tried them recently and they are so easy to make and absolutely yummy.
Hope I have the recipe still right in my head.
150g Butter
225g Chocolate (original recipe uses white, but I used brown)
Melt 50g of the chocolate with the butter. Chop the rest of the chocolate with 100g hazelnuts (walnuts will work also).
Beat two eggs with 75g of brown sugar, mix with the cooled down butter/chocolate.
fold in 150g of self raising flour and nuts and chocolate.
Pour into a 18cmx18cm tin and bake on 190C for 25 to 30 minutes.
OK, as it would be, the recipe was all messed up.
Here it is for real now:
125g butter
225g chocolate
Melt 50g of the chocolate with the butter, and leave to cool.
Chop rest of chocolate with 75g nuts.
Beat two eggs with 125g of brown sugar.
Mix with cooled butter/chocolate.
Fold in 125g of self-raising flour (or normal flour plus 2ts baking powder, as I do) and nuts and chocolate.
Pour into 18x18cm tin and bake for 25 to 30 minutes on 190C
