Was going to post a q about me cleaning a long forgotten cupboard, and the spider waved and asked me for raw steak.

Are they getting bigger?

Maybe you're shrinking? On a more serious note i think when people fear things or have phobias they blow them out of proportion or maybe all the chemicals in the air and global warming etc.. are indeed making spiders mutate so are now bigger and hardier

Kramer, when I see a spider wearing a hard hat and hi-viz then I'll start to worry :-D

When one of the Dobies 'takes off' ploughing a furrow in the carpet with its' nose, there's usually a spider, losing ground just ahead of it!

Strange thought, if spiders had thumbs and wanted to hitch-hike, would they lift one side of their body and then fall over?

Poorly pooch has his 'crash-hat' for another week or so,
but he's doing fine, healing well, thanks.

One of my favourite sick jokes about a poorly pooch wearing a lamp-shade was 'oh so you couldn't afford cable?

My pooch has just glared at me for typing that.

alba, they seem to be the size of an eagle nowadays. Maybe it's just my vivid imagination of course !!

Balders, a pal of mine had a stookie (plaster) when he broke his wrist. Went to visit him and he 'patted' me on the knee with his stookied wrist. Jeez, wot a pal! it was blooming sore :-D

I was lucky, I got a Stiff
fibre-glass sleeve thing that I could remove carefully to have a shower etc,
It was a sort of strap-on thingy, 'cause I really didn't want a plaster if I could avoid it.
