We've had a beautiful day here in East Devon ,been gardening most of the day,but have just heard from a friend in Southend and its had awful floods.

Got caught in a downpour earlier. Went shopping and when we got back we had to sit in the car for ages and wait for it to ease a bit. Still got soaked getting the shopping out of the boot.

Stockton: Started dry and sunny, then clouded over and stair-rods by about one o' clock. Been raining ever since.
