Just popped in to ask about folding mobility scooters. I am thinking of getting one, so I can put it in the car, and use it to ride along the sea front or round local shops. I would have to be able to put it easily in the car, as I am about 2 miles from the nearest civilisation, on a busy road with no pavement. Just wondered if anyone has fors and againsts and advice on which are good and which are not. I will look in on Saturday to see if anyone has any advice. Cant look tomorrow, as I have to go to funeral. Thank you so much.

I have a Pride, GoGo.
It splits into 4 parts, easy to pop in car boot.

Thank you ferlew. I heard that its a good one. I will check it out.
Just a bit of advice. I don't know if you are disabled or not,but it is illegal to use a mobility scooter on the pavement if you are not. Only the large scooters (class 3 ) are allowed to travel on the road ( displaying a tax disc ). Small scooters can only use the road to cross from pavement to pavement. The Go-Go is an excellent take apart scooter and very reliable.
