Puss, that Christmas hat.....is it late from last year, or early for this year? :o)
I last went to Blackpool when I was about 16 (40+ years ago). Got lost, couldn't find the coach to take me home and had to stay the night in a B & B. No mobile phones in those days, my mum was going frantic with worry.
I remember lots of flashing lights and it being quite noisy. I would have probably enjoyed it, had it not been for the trauma of being lost in a strange place.
this is my mum's first visit to blackpool, well her mum was 5 months pregnant actually lol we've been going there for 5 generations and despite it all my kids and grandkids love it.

A lovely blast from the blast djhawkes though the horsecart operators face says it all
I've zoomed in on the original and it is shadow and a healthy working outdoors suntan i reckon, my great aunt eva, b1914 seated on the left, celebrated her 25th wedding anniversary in blackpool in a huge red brick posh hotel right on the prom in 1961 , have a colour picture of me and my sister riding donkeys on the beach during the day, my mum lost her engagement ring at that party as she took it off in the ladies to wash her hands.
I zoomed and brightened my original also, and it's some older person sitting on a deck chair in front of the pram. I guess the Kodak Brownie didn't have much depth of field:) Imagine taking a pram through all that sand?
