Everyone thinks the best music was around when they were a teenager and everything afterwards was sh1te. The truth is there are great bands in every decade.

I don't. I like music from the all decades. I was a teenager in the 80's and 90's.

The 90's we're brilliant, musically speaking. My childhood though. I'm a 90's kid!! :D My first single was PJ and Duncan and my first album was Robbie, both of which I am not afraid to admit to!

Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins, Pearl Jam, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Cranberries, Blur, Oasis, Pulp, Foo Fighters, Alanis Morrisette, Metallica, Soundgarden, Radiohead, Green Day, Weezer... Just to name a few!

Music went downhill for me from 1990 onwards. I quite like Oasis, though.
And although this wasn't in the question, 2000 onwards in general was/ is dire ( with honorable exceptions of Adele, and Sinead O'Connor's remastering of Nothing Compares 2U.
