cupid, yes - in that I would often get a present split across the two dates. I've never had the luxury of summery birthday presents (you can only wear so many hat and scarf sets!)

The plus side is that the Christmas Decs are still up on our birthdays!

Christmas? That's a swear word in my household. Hang your head in shame and think about what you have just said! As for New Year - couldn't really give a toss. I'll probably be seeing it in at work.

Happy 'School holidays have nearly ended'. Now THAT'S something to celebrate!

Yep cupid, I'm the same as boxy..... I get "That'll do for your Christmas and Birthday" :o( My Daughter's is Christmas Eve, so we tend to open Christmas and Birthday presents on Christmas day (if we get any Birthday presents) I always make sure I buy my Daughter something nice for her Birthday.....
