Problem unlocking iphone

my girlfriend got an iphone off ebay and when i tried to restore it then use ziphone to do it all it started fine and rebooted but then it just went back to the connect to itunes screen and stayed their, and ziphone said restarting in recovery mode.

then i tried again and ziphone couldnt even recognize the phone. so i restored it once again in itunes and tried it again in ziphone and the same thing happens, it starts out ok then the phone restarts back to the hook to itunes page and ziphone continues to say restarting in recovery mode.

im stuck. im not sure what else to do

any help would be awsome
