Nope - Nessie is a girl and doesn't have any dongalongs or dingalongs or is it dingaling?
I have based my answer on what I saw at the Loch Ness Monster Exhibition. Until then I thought it might just be possible. From memory it would take hundredes of tonnes of fresh trout and salmon to sustain even a 20 ft long beast let alone a family of them. On another point is it not funny that sightings only began last century not like all good legends from the year dot. Perhaps the work of some canny Scot in the early days of tourism!

It's unlikely to be a prehistoric creature as Loch Ness was frozen solid during the last ice age. But it seems there's something there.
it's clearly the Loch Ness monster showing off her incredible bikini body... hang on, my eyes have wandered a bit, haven't they.

Well, perhaps it's just a wave, caused by nothing. That sounds scientifically likely, doesn't it.
Leave nessie alone !! I love her !
Him! Its a him!
How do you know Oct ?
I am sure that as the Indepedence vote gets closer wee Alex Salmond will enlist the help of Nessie.

I expect it was her brother that St George killed.
I believe in her, always have, if she is alone down there how can she produce a family ? Long Live Nessie, she probably lives on planckton like whales.
I have seen the same effect on Loch Ness, several times in one day, what I saw was constructive interference of bow waves from boats travelling along the Loch. This kind of thing is quite common on calm water with boat traffic but only on Loch Ness is it caused by a monster:o)
Dee, does plankton get that big?

Sorry Dee ^^^ are you saying the whole of Whales live on Plankton?
In the late 70's early 80's I had the privilege to work on the Loch Ness and Morar project, under Adrian Shine ( fantastic chap, really interesting, amazing beard )
It was really interesting, we were scanning the loch using under water sonar equipment to see if we could find Nessie.
Obviously we never did, but there are some wierd things living in the loch.
I bet there were some weird things living in his beard!
Stewey, that's Godzilla surely??
