how do i send an invoice to an ebay buyer. I have an item for sale in the uk. They have asked if I would ship to Germany. I said I would but the postage would be more. I went to the post office and got a quote and told them what the postage would be. They decided that they did want the item and asked me to send them an invoice for the full amount (with the new postage rate).
I said they should click to buy the item - and then I could invoice them. They are saying they dont need to do this. Can I send them an invoice without them selecting to buy the item - and when they pay - end the listing ?
You can do this, yes, but you will be bypassing Ebay. You can do this via Paypal, if you have their Paylpal address - just "send invoice".
Personally, I would do it through Ebay and to do this I would change the postage costs on the 'buy it now' item (assuming it is buy it now?) and get them to do it this way.
But... if you don't correct the postage costs on your Ebay listing, you won't be able to do this.
Well, you will, but it will only let you do it up to a certain amount, which is bloody ridiculous I say.
