My Future

I'm 18 years old and I study in the Faculty of Biology (first year), my father earns 12,000 dirhams per month (compared to life in my usa, it's like he earn 7000 U.S. dollars.) but the last two years, he became very stingy. even the clothes he no longer wants to buy. my mother is a housewife . Yesterday she travel to visit my grandfather because he is very ill, my dad gave her about 200 dh (about 25 U.S. dollars).sometimes, I think dropping out of school and working somewhere, but at the same time I think of my mother and what she wanted me to become. i really don't know what to do

What do you think you could achieve by dropping out ? Would your future and the future of your family be better or worse in the future if you did ? If it is your mother you are concerned about, then would she want you to drop out now ?

Times are getting hard your dad might have been asked to take a pay cut to keep his job, or been sacked but doesn't want you guys to know, can you ask him why he is now being stingy ? Don't drop out of school one day you will be able to get a good job with qualifications and then you can look after your mum.
