here and in the States. It's what you guys call a Bank Holiday. Anyway ,we name our holidays, and this is "Labor Day weekend". Strange name considering how many people will not be labouring. See, I used "labor" and "labouring": that proves I'm bilingual:)...Cheers.

Happy Labor Day Weekend! Have spent one in New York (partly hiding in Macys while my ex was on a shopping spree!) and one in Toronto, great weekend :)

Is there airshow there? When I first got into the city I headed down to the lakeside and was pretty impressed to find a big ship full of lovely marines down there ;) Lots of great stalls about too then met a friend I hadn't seen for many years at the CN Tower and, after braving the see-through floor, had dinner in a window booth in the revolving restaurant as the sun set, fantastic day!

Eve, the air show is part of the Canadian National Exhibition (135th year) which close on labor day. About 1.4 million people visit the CNE every year: I've been once:)
