Hi, just bought our first wooden curtain poles, do we buy plastic hooks for the rings or do we need special hooks. Thanks all

I just use the ordinary plastic hooks with mine

Thanks Birdwoman, that puts my mind at rest.
Mine came with it's own wooden rings that had a eyelet screwed into them which took normal plastic loopy type curtain hooks.
We use these...

Yep, plastic ones are fine.

I appreciate all the answers and was quite happy to use plastic hooks, now my sister has said not plastic but brass hooks, not sure what these are and didn't want to show myself up, she said they come with poles, or at least hers did. Have opened the poles and no hooks, so think I will try plastic first and see what happens. Thanks all
