F-W code

On a couple of other threads there are discussions about F-W on bank notes and what it means. Loads of people are giving reasons for it but no real answer.

Does anyone have a clue what it means when someone writes F-W in biro in the corner of a �20 note (thats what i have seen them on).

Also have they got anything to do with this picture at the Brit Awards last week?

I did post an answer on some other thread. FW is a packing term. It get's written on 10 pound notes to but only every tenth note, for 20's its every 5 notes and for 5's its every 20th note. These are because they are packed in batchs of 100 and the note with FW on it is folder in half over the other notes to make a �100 organised pile, when all the �100's are placed on top of each other you can easily count 5000 pounds by counting every batch of 100.
