I avoid buying imported veg, hence me having a glut of beans/courgettes/tomatoes at the moment....combination of veg box and garden

My runner bean chutney is not dissimilar to a piccalilli.

DTC, I've had three lots and damn fine it was too!

My runner bean chutney barely has time to mature before it gets devoured. I do have some very mature green tomato and onion of a good vintage still available to my chutney chums....just send me an SAE!

I book my home shopping slot ages before I need it by 'buying' two cases of cans of cider, always dread that I will forget to do the proper list and the Asda man will be at the door with 40 cans of cider and nothing else. I would look like such a lush.

Don't give it a second though Sherrard, unless one of the Things opens the door clutching a can of cider........that wouldn't look too good ;-)
