Loo Paper Pointing.

Have just stayed at a nice hotel in Guildford where I found how to point the end of the loo paper, and now I have OCD, am pointing all the loo papers that I come across, I need help!!!

Recently I watched and episode of The Hotel Inspector where they did origami with the loo roll - she wasn't impressed as there were other things that needed attention. I will confess to putting a point in the loo roll at home but I do it primarily to annoy Queenofmean

I pointed the hanging loo roll a couple of weeks ago, every time I returned for a visit, someone else had been and not re-pointed. :-(

Also, when a spare roll is out, I need to loosen the end and tuck it in to the top in a nice little way so it's easy to use when needed.

I recall sometime ago a guy ( i think he was from a utility company , if my memory serves me correctly ) came round to fix something , at our house .

He asked to use the loo and was some time in there .
I wondered why he was so long . Then I remembered that the loo paper had finished earlier and i had not replaced it as yet .

No wonder he was taking so long , given the dilemma , that he faced .

The maid points the loo paper to show that your bathroom has been cleaned and spruced up since it was last used by a guest.

YOU are not supposed to point it. That defeats the object of the etiquette!!!

When ever i replace the loo roll , i always put it on so the sheets hang over , rather than under .

It makes for easier ripping off of the sheets .
I thought everybody knew that

and to stop it flowing a la andrex puppy, squish the loo roll before popping it onto the holder (other puppies are available)
