Am I right in thinking Naproxin is the more effective of the two? I know they're both the same type of drug etc

Naproxin/Ibuprofen....same type of drug and same indications for use.

"More effective?" depends on which dose of which drug you are comparing.

Thanks sqad. I have quite bax shoulder pain and I want to hit it with something for a while before I go to the doc. I'm more interested in the anti inflammatory properties really so thought I would get some Naproxin and give it a bash - haven't tried it before.

Bad, not bax. Bloody phone!
OK...give it a try.
btw..it's naproxen...just saying!
naproxen may make you poo a lot more - well it worked for me, went back to Ibuprofen.
Question Author
Well, I got some (220mg per tablet). It was fantastic - much better than ibuprofen. I`m not sure why it isn`t available in the UK as a stand-alone drug (maybe the risks about heart attacks have something to do with it).
Question Author
When I mean stand-alone in the UK, I mean as an over the counter drug.
