why have the fighter jets been flying around RAF waddington everyday for the past few days, and a few hercules have also been up and about.

it is not normally this busy, or am i being paranoid is it just fighter jet week training?????

Is there an air show coming up they are practicing for? I think Southport might be around now-ish.

Maybe they are just doing some more specific training which makes it more obvious they are about (such as take off and landing practice) or bring sent out to service elsewhere.

Hercules' could be carrying all kinds of things.
