Not to worry nungate.
I am however appalled at the cost of oxtail when I wanted to make some soup.
Hope you have a better night tonight and that best beloved arrives home soon.
I used to love cooking but I can only manage it with help these days - bit of a b*gger in all truth as I have to rely on Queenie. When I'm left on my own I don't cook at all, that's when I use M&S ready meals. My favourite at the moment is a Spanish chicken with patatas bravas! I can barely even make a sandwich for myself these days. I might moan about Queenie still being at home, but I'd be lost without her and best beloved
Be a while yet before he gets home. Oxtail, that didn't used to be an expensive cut - didn't they take it off sale at the time of all that BSE thingy?
I haven't cooked it myself but my mum used to for my step father he was fond of it in a casserole
I remember Heinz oxtail soup, that was quite nice. I can't abide tomato soup so sweet! You know I love making soup, I just don't like eating it
isn't that weird?
That sounds interesting Daisy. I made tomato soup just the once using passata I can't remember what else though, been a while. My lot are very fond of potage bonne femme which is a great way or using up leftover veggies as I add them at then end of cooking just before I blend it up a bit
