Just seen your other question above this one (and tried to help). Do you think that drinking salt water and throwing up (i.e. to get rid of your illness) will help? Cos it won't !!

I read a story many years ago about a 7 yeasr old boy who had swallowed a penny. his mum, panic stricken, forced him to drink 3 large glasses of salty water to make him throw it up - he died. unsurprisingly not because of the penny....
