stones in a shoe

Can someone explain to me how stones get into your shoe? and i don't mean someone placing a stone in your shoe or your shoe is has a hole in it.I mean your walking down the street and next min you feel this stone in your shoe how did it get there any thoughts?

well i personally think its when you are walking or running you kick up stones and on some rare occasions they actually fall into the gap between your socks and shoe opening and work their way in thats my thought on it

I did not intend to be rude to you gerry. Sorry if I offended you. The answer though, did seem a little obvious unless the stone appears in a shoe by magic. Pleased you got the answer you wanted.

Actually, gerry, there's sometimes another explanation. If before putting on your shoes you walk around in your socks, sometimes a little stone or grit on the floor sticks to the sole of your sock. If it's in the middle of your foot, where it curves upward, you don't notice it when you put on your shoes; but you do if it then works its way to your heel or to the ball of your foot as you walk along. So possibly the answer is not always as obvious as robber 1 thinks, though quite often it is.

Sorry Gerry, Your type of question is one of the reasons i look in here every once in a while. They do amuse me. I didnt mean to be rude, i thought you posted the question as a joke as many others do just to see what the response would be. sytvday's response was fantastic. He either has as stupid a sense of humour as myself or he is completely mad. Anyway, how's the woman hunting going?
