I've encountered plastic note on holiday many years ago. Didn't like thm (can't really explain why).

I remember the ones in the Isle of Man. They soon got rid of them so they couldn't have been much good!

As I mentioned on another thread, if you ever get to use them be very, very careful. It's as if they're impregnated with opposing magnetic poles: they just don't want to separate, also they're thinner than paper bills. It's quite easy to hand over two, or even three, bills instead of one!
