I know this may be wrong area,but,,if youbuy crossword/puzzle mags & send off comps,have you givenup sending off due to not winning?

The only competition I send off is The Mail on Sunday Prize. I try to do as many crosswords as I can though to keep my brain from turning to mush.

me also,try to send off take a break & 1's out on a thursday,win on occasions ,years apart.costs me more buying mags than I ever win

I think I'd like to win just to see my name in print then I'd frame it, lol!
The money would be nice too. Love a holiday. Haven't had one of them for a few years.

I send in at least 3 Sunday crosswords from mail and express, used to be four until you mag changed rules. Have won skeleton I think. 4 times and barebones once.

I won a teletext comp some years back. I won some paperback book, can't even remember the title now!

I still dutifully post, I do 6 crosswords over the weekend to keep the old grey matter working, I post 5. Once I won the D/T gen K £200 a few years ago now, and a couple in the Sunday Express £100+£25 but over the years have spent much more in postage, never ever had a win from Take a Break though. Best of all I have found a web site that does your sudoko for you, that I cannot do.

I do about 5 or 6 crosswords a week, and usually send off 3 of them. Hadn't won a thing a until a couple weeks ago, when I got a runner-up prize in Mephisto. I never expect to win anything, but enter as it rounds off the completion of a puzzle. I was ridiculously thrilled with my £20 and seeing my name in print!

i do loads of magazines and 5 crosswords on sunday send them all off with fingers crossed ,one day i'll win lol

I enter one each week and earlier this year saw my name (which is a very uncommon name) listed as the £500 winner in the paper- but the town listed next to my name was a different part of the country. i was hoping it was just a typing error but no cheque ever arrived here.

Many of the magazines have on-line entry options now - TAB, Chat etc

I haven't won anything for a few months :-(

I do them for fun, but I know 2 people who have each won, and received their £50 winnings :-)

I like Logic puzzles more than crosswords etc.

I have won the Sunday Mirror crossword & the People crossword.

Always do Take a Break & Chat religiously but never won anything from them.
