I have a Sony LCD TV with only 1 HDMI socket & I need to connect a Sky+ HD box & a Blu Ray player to the TV. I have looked on Amazon & found a HDMI splitter shown here

The problem is the advertising suggests that it is for 1 in & 2 out instead of the other way round. I surely cannot assume ( nothing is that easy) that it will work both ways. Can one of you kind Techies point me in the right direction ?. TIA.
