I presume you still need to visit your nearest DVLA Office unless it has changed recently.

that link only seems to be exchanging disc when changes have been made to vehicle.
You are changing the taxation class, give Swansea a ring tomorrow and see if there is an easier way.

Hope they have simplified it, used to be in the Motor Trade and spent many a time in the queues in those offices, fingers crossed for you.

Mamy...rang DVLA...all very simple, just fill in "Taxation Class" on section 7 of Log Book(Reg Certificate)..take to Post Office and they will sort it.
How easy when one knows how.!!!!!
Fabulous, so glad you got a quick and clear answer.
Mmmm i did this last year and was told DVLA Office only.NO Post Office
Is what I thought but maybe it has changed according to the info in the phonecall.
Since January 2013 the Taxation Class of a vehicle can be changed at POs. Before then it could only be done at a Local DVLA Office.
Thanks for the update.
The system had to be changed before the end of 2013 because all DVLA local offices will be closed by then.
