For some reason I find that I have an 's' stuck on the end of my 'http' and it stops me from going to lots of sites, such as when I type in 'snipca.com/**** it refuses to go there saying it can't find it. But if I go into the address line and remove the 's' it goes straight to the site. So my questin is: "How do I re-set my address line so that the added 's' (I know that it's a security addition), but I don't want it as my default! I don't want to do even more damage . Help ,please.
Many thanks

As I understand things, if you put an s after the http you are ensuring that only Safe Sites are accessed. Also, most Browsers will default to https.
