It said on the news last night that this evil man could well be deported back to the UK when he's served his sentence - please, no.

If it was a foreigner doing this here would you want him to stay? Why should they have to put up with him?
Question Author
Yeah - but he's imprisoned in the States, by that argument shouldn't they be sending him back here to serve his time?
he should die in prison, wherever he is.
i think the judge has made a mistake he should have got 260 not 26
Since the British media regularly trumpet about the deportation of foreign criminals - suppsedly reflecting the wishes of the nation - we can hardly blame other countries for off-loading British criminals back here, can we?
We wouldn't want him back, but that is of course what should happen to people that commit crimes in foreign countries. They should serve their sentence and then be immediately deported.

Hopefully he'll die in the American prison, preferably the day before he's due to be released.
Yes I agree with the above we deport foriegn criminals after they have served their time so unfortunately we must accept our own rubbish back, I don't think it's constitutionally avoidable anyway.
Lets hope he does not make 26 years. At least they are not trying to put him in a UK prison where all the liberals would campaign for his release under the HRA
"put him in a UK prison where all the liberals would campaign for his release"

Doubt he would be in prison long enough if it were the UK Baz, if at all.
'youngmafbog even.

To be fair Orderlimit - it is an easy mistake to make

I withdraw that last post - it unfairly denigrates ymb's contributions
It would be a real shame should an accident befall him whilst incarcerated or succumb to an attack by a fellow inmate.

Fingers crossed.
