I haven't seen any on my feeders though I've been putting some older bread out which has been disappearing and must have the best stocked squirrel for winter with all the peanuts he's gone through!
I'm interested in what kind of feeders people are finding are the most popular for birds, especially smaller birds.
My sparrows come onto my feeder in the morning and in the evening and the blackbirds are finishing off the blackcurrants. I put a mixture of seed and suet pellets in my feeders, Eve. They seem to like that.
I probably miss them as dark when I leave the house. I've put a veritable feast out, suet pellets, seed and meal worms in feeders and some suet things and fat balls...and peanuts for the squirrel.
Getting to the weather where there is less about for them though.
starlings and sparrows in my garden just love the fat balls, and I have 6 collared doves that come here at least twice a day to eat seed, find that not so many sparrows around just now though, and I did have blackbirds here but not seen them for weeks now, maybe due to the fact that next door have 2 new cats!
