We were shown some slides of various works of art and asked to evaluate them. One slide showed a Terry Frost painting. Lots of comments about how valuable it was. Except that it turned out to be a copy made by the seminar leader's art student wife. Discussion killed!

I like the one of them dining on the sand - but the tables should have sunk in the sand unless the beach were concrete based.
The brush strokes - sorry "brush strokes" are so bad that it looks like paint by numbers
and if it aint Vettriano it aint worth much
a few early canvasses came up on the Antiques Road show
when he was well like one of us (ie couldnt paint)
