just watched the first two episodes on catch up and it's pretty good. very similar to ripper street but slightly more interesting. and I get the title now, the razorblades in the flat caps, makes sense now.
will stick with it I think.
I actually thought Cillian Murphy's character was scouse in the first episode. They should have set it somewhere else just to make it easier on the actors. Sam Neill's accent is good though.
It's set in Brum because it's based on truth and that's where the peaky blinders were from. I thought all the accents sounded Irish but as a good southern girl they don't bother me if they're wrong!
