Women And Badboys

one of my friends sons seems to be having girl problems at school. He asked me why is it most young girls (by young meaning around 15-19) tend to avoid nice guys and often go with the louder often ruder more popular guys. While this was a farely simple question, it left me thinking.
Why is this?

Sure, but nice guys are still found in the population because the alpha males get so distracted fighting that some girls get chatty with a guy who is far more interested in them than competing.
The boy needs to be patient. Only one girl is required so it doesn't really matter how many chase the alphas. If usually takes a while for the girls to work out what is good for them.
Moreover, eventually the alphas become omegas while the girls with good judgement go on fancying the interesting man.

The girls that are attracted to the "bad boys" are probably "bad girls" themselves and not worth bothering about. He should just be a little more confident, not walked over (when he does meet a girl), keep neat and tidy in appearance and have good conversation. Your friends son will meet a nice girl one day and both will be very happy.
