I use baby wipes for all sorts, tho not on baby cos my baby is almost an OAP.

They are brilliant for getting stubborn marks off paint or walls even.

Thats all very well, but these are supposed to be "gentle" on baby's bottom.

I found this on the net for other uses for these clever disposable little wipes.

Not sure they are suitable for the delicate skin of little babies. With going to be Great Grandma a few months down the line it got me wondering are these really safe for their intended use?

I have never bought a packet of baby wipes. But then, i have never had a baby so not been in the habit of using them for everyday tasks.
I use them to clean my computer's keyboard. I use the round end of a nail file to push the wipe between the keys. They are very good for other plastic items, too, including the arm rests of my office chair and they do a good job on the car dashboard.
They're only good at cleaning all this other stuff because they are a mixture of water and oils. They've been around for a long time so I'm sure they're 100% safe for baby bots.
Mini Boo's 8 and I still buy them, they have a multitude of uses. I love the lazy ways we can use them, for example every now and then I'll have one in my hand as im going up the stairs for something, and wipe the stair banister with 'em.
when little 'nobs was in special care, they never used baby wipes, but water and cotton wool balls. However, i agree how useful they are for almost everything. Plus they smell of babies.
Apparently they severely block the drains, if you flush them away. My local authority had to hire heavy duty super jetters, as the normal jetters for removing sludge etc would not work.
