has anyone here had any of these?

i'm just curious, but has anyone ever said you actually look 'young' or younger than your years?

because it always seems to me that most people who have surgery etc never look younger, they just look like someone who has had work done and look their age.
they look 'good for their age' - but they certainly don't make people think they are younger

what do you think?

(this is not a surgery bashing thread, so please refrain - i have no issue with it - i think if you want surgery etc and it makes you feel better and doesn't hurt anyone then go for it-)

My friend had botox on the wrinkles around her eyes, and a filler on the lines between her brows.

Gotta be honest, I didn't notice much difference.
I don't know anyone that has personally. As far as i can see from TV, it makes people look older.
My mum has had a facelift and when you compare her now to the before photos you can really see the difference. She looks younger and doesn't have that "surprised" look at all. A number of years ago she had Botox and none of us noticed. She wasn't impressed!
My mum had her eyes done, they were in a bad way with the lid sagging down too much, she looked fab after (still does), not younger per se but certainly better.
well it's a bit like a hair piece, if you are unaware then it's a good one!
If I had the money I might try something. As it is I'm thinking of growing my hair long so that I can pull it back to take up some of the slack from the front.

Saw a young woman in M&S today with a 'trout pout', not good.
I think it can be beneficial up to a point but there's a cut off point when it starts looking weird. Sharon Osbourne has had loads of work done and she looked great up until a few years ago.

The most recent set of changes has made her start to look weird. She's now got those strange eyes that are pulled up at the sides, and funny hamster cheeks.

There's an age limit on it.
I've had botox, and I've had fillers - both a complete false economy and definitely not something I'd do again.
The fillers were for my frown line, and I had botox every six months for a good few years. The fillers work instantaneously, but the botox took about 3-5 days to 'notice'.
The only problem with that, is that a few months down the line, you start looking 'ropey' and a bit 'rough around the edges'.

I've since chosen a fringe and to smile more :-)

Hard to prove but I'm pretty damn sure that i have never been face to face with someone whos wearing one and not been aware of it..you can spot from a mile away
I haven't any of these before, but then again, I'm not a woman, nor do I have money to burn.
I think the answer may be "How would you know?" You can tell the failures when you see them but by definition you wouldn't know the successful ones when you saw them.
I would pay good money for a rug that looked convincing. But, as already stated, you can usually spot them a mile away.
