Unfortunately the BBC feel "there is not sufficient demand to warrant its release" or something similar. It has been repeated so the best idea is to watch out for it being shown late night on BBC1/2/3 etc.
I have previously been told that, as the BBC is funded by the public, you have a write to access of anything shown. Never heard of anyone getting a copy but might be worth a shot (or could just be another of those urban myths)
Thanks for that - it was a great series, beautifully acted and the scenery and settings were great too. Missed it first time round, and caught it on repeat on the drama channel. Wish I'd taped it now - know my sister in Australia would love it.
Think that it's always a good cop out the "not enough demand" claim....how many people have to demand a product to make it "enough"??! Never heard about the right to access from the BBC - but I may check it out (got a mate who works in the BBC news editing department) and see if it's so.
Thanks again for your reply. :)
