Well I suppose it is no surprise given the left leaning of this site.
But what may well surprise the lefties is that I personally dont agree with the kiss and tell books, no matter what political persuasion. This man was a spin doctor aka a 'liar or twister of the truth' to the rest of us, rather looks clear he is out to make a fast buck at the expense of Brown.
And does anyone actually think this is isolated to Brown or labour? I don't.

Not 'everyone' Svejk perhaps only those who are 'Left-Leaning', but then is that not the majority on here, regardless of this statement?
/// I see little evidence that this site is "left- leaning". Quite the opposite, in fact, which probably means that overall it is pretty balanced :) ///

@AoG Well no, actually. Can you provide any actual proof of this alleged "left leaning" of the site, as you describe it? Otherwise, such allegations of bias can be safely disposed of in the trash, where such allegations belong.
There are plenty - plenty- of centre-right and right leaning vocal commentators on this site; as many as those of the left, I would hazard.
Where you make a fundamental mistake is in assuming that anyone who disagrees with you is automatically left-wing, or PC, or biased or whatever other excuse you can find to sulk about when people disagree with you.

@Svejk - As they, seemingly, lack the facility for original or individual thought they're always to be found jumping on the same bandwagon. Ergo, there just appear to be more of them
" Jumping on the Bandwagon"? What, you mean agreeing with other posters on a thread? Kind of like the centre-right and right-wingers all do whenever the opportunity arises? Must be that same lack of original or individual thought in action again eh?
There are plenty of vocal contributors to all sides of the political debate on this site. No evidence at all that I can see that the site is at all biased in favour of one wing or the other.
The original question was about Mcbride. Spin Doctors are amoral and seemingly unconcerned about the ethics of their actions. But they are not confined to a single party or wing. They can be found everywhere there is politics. But for the public as a whole, spin doctors rarely register at the top of the agenda, unlike for the media and the politicians themselves. That.s why there has been such little fuss over his memoirs.
