MSN 7.5 - Problem with conversation window

My MSN has gone wierd. When I sign in everything looks fine but when I try and have a conversation and click on a contact no conversation window appears but the contact name appears on the tool bar at the bottom, even if I click on it (right/left) it still will not open the conversation. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling MSN. Strangely, I have no problem on the lap top when I sign in on there. Any ideas? Thanks.
