I totally agree, it is cruel, also the wrong people are being asked to go. I can't stand people who shout instead of singing. If you have a good voice there is no need to shout.

Yes, awful format just pick the best ones, it is awful having picked someone built up their hopes and then shatter them, dragging on too long making it too dramatic it is a singing contest just get on with it!

Agree, been watching for about 30 mins and still don't know how this format works PLUS the fake tears from the judges is toecurling.

That young girl that had Louis crying- I though her voice was wobbling out of tune even the backing track seemed to wobble but they didn't notice and all thought she was wonderful.

i watch it because i am a fan of x factor, but it's getting harder to enjoy

Couldn't agree more. They should all sing and the best ones put through. I was totally shocked that Louis let Alexandro go and then I cringed when all four judges laughed and clapped for the last boy getting through as Alexandro walked off gutted. It's getting more and more of a farce. Louis nodding his head and spouting 'this is what this show's all about'. Nicole sobbing, Sharon pulling faces 'fab-ew-less missis' etc. Not sure I care who wins really.
