How Can A Journalistic Uphold Objectivity?

I have no doubt about the happening that is going to be written by a journalists, but I wonder if they can maintain objectivity towards their opinion upon ongoing cases as we are living in this internet age where everyone has the right to voice their thought.

It does depend on both the journalist, and the publication.
For example, a news journalist on the Telegraph will report a story with a facts-based angle, and little or no opinion, whereas Richard Littlejohn for example, who is an 'opinion columnist' in the Mail, will report on the same story with his own individual point of view which will appeal to those readers who share his individaul viewpoints on aspects of news and culture.
