This sounds like homework to me - if you google, I am sure you will find loads of references. The principles are all the same, irrespective of the industry you're in.
Why? Customer service is sadly lacking.
The Customer is Always Right ...

But plagiarism-detection software is being used by most good education establishments so I would suggest -don't- cut and paste but read, inwardly digest, have a full night's sleep and then write a version in your own words, without referring back to your reading material until after you have finished this first draft. Re-read the source material and go back to correct any mistakes, fill in missing pieces and so on.

The hazard of copying and pasting material found online is that the content falls into two categories - single author opinion pieces or multi-author wikipedia articles. Both can be well written, polished and tightly edited pieces but single author pieces contain quirks of writing style and wiki articles contain quirks of editing and multi authorship which are a dead giveaway and don't even require software to spot.

well a good start and one that relates strongly to customer service is the use of the words "please" and "thank you"
It's okay, Hypognosis. When I said "There's probably one answer that just gets cut and pasted each time" maybe I should have made it clear I just meant it as a warning that that the answers found to such questions from google searches are often just cut and pasted from answers on other sites.

At school I see the same wikipedia articles, or other answers resulting from googling the question title, being presented time and time again.

I think the ease of cutting and pasting means many students have lost the ability to digest and precis texts
The modern policy seems to be "Profits before People"
