Fiat Bravo 1.4 Gear Box Problems.

Hi guys. I'm afraid Iv got another problem.....

My car has developed a problem. It was ok until this morning then suddenly it's very difficult to get it to go into first or second gear. It will easily go into reverse and fourth and fifth but not the first two.
Iv looked into the bottles of liquid under the bonnet and they all seem full.
I don't want it to go completely and strand me away from home.
Does anyone have any ideas because I certainly don't.

When I press the clutch pedal it seems to go down further than it did before. Does that help? Thanks for the help so far.

Iv just drove my car and the problem seems to have fixed itself. All the same I think I'll take it to a mechanic. Trouble is I always seem to get a "Cwaniaczek" What you might call a wheerer dealer. Ho hum. Thanks xxx

Ania, be very carefull out there regards getting someone to Diagnose the G / Box>> Clutch problem, before you do that, have a look around ( As said) for any obstructions within the Gear Stick Area, also the Clutch Pedal Area, do not take ONE persons word for the problem, look and ask a few before coming to conclusion.

My friend fixed the problem by putting some more brake fluid in. I don't know how topping up the breaks fixes the gears but it did. x
