Chihauhau Shedding Hair

My daughter's three year old chihauhau never stops shedding hair. It's all over everything. Is there anything that we can give her to stop this? Thanks for any advice.

A bath, a good brush to get rid of the old coat, and a coat supplement like Yumega etc.

You can't stop a dog shedding, it's what they do. Regular brushing every day will help remove the loose ones before they rub off on furniture etc

No, it's natural, we have the same problem with the catz.

Thankyou jules - she does get bathed and brushed but will try the Yumega.

Some vacuum cleaners have attachments that allow you to actually vacuum your dog. Not sure what would happen with such a small dog - probably not a great idea.
